Village Walk (Rabari Tribal Community)

The Rabari people are an ethnic group of primarily India. They are also known as Rebari, Raikas, and Dewasi. They tend to be pastoralists and are in north, central, and western states of India such as Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Punjab, as well as Sindh in Pakistan.
Rabari is one of the such nomadic tribes living in Jawai area of Rajasthan. The hunger of their sheep and goats always keep Rabaris on move in Jawai belt. It is a purely shepherd community, however nowadays some of them especially in Patan area are doing farming as well.
