SAFARI (Leopard safari)
JAWAI’s leopards are a great attraction across the region.. we recommend an early start for your morning game drive, certainly before the sun is up. A team of dedicated and knowledgeable trackers will take you out in customized jeeps (Open 4 Wheel Drive Jeep- -6 Seater) to find them, and you are also likely to spot sloth bears, antelope and Indian wolf also the Jawai Bandh (Dam) , Other attraction of wild lovers and bird watchers of migratory birds including flamingos, geese and demoiselle cranes, whose dancing courtship rituals between November and February are reason enough to come. A qualified naturalist accompanies you on every trip to help you interpret the exotic flora and fauna of the region. Our trackers are from families who have known the jungle and its animals for generations.
Ideal time to observe Wildlife and Photography There is no restriction for viewing wildlife in any time of the year. But during summer, the weather is hot so the sightings too reduce, as leopards prefer staying hidden in their shelter and come out from cave at early morning or in evening at the approx.time of sunset when evening is quite pleasant from sunny heat . During the months of September ,October, November , January ,February, March and up to April mid. weather is quite pleasant and one can see leopards for long duration without any difficulty. The months of December are quite cold but one can not only see the elusive cat, but also enjoy migratory birds in the waters of Jawai dam.

Bird Watching
Bird watching around the JAWAI DAM is an excellent pastime with over 300 species of birds being recorded here. The different habitat at JAWAI ensures that we will see plenty of new species. These may include Common Peafowl, Painted Spurfowl, Jungle Bushquail, Great Thick-knee, Alexandrine and Plum-headed Parakeets, Stork-billed Kingfisher, Common Hawk-cuckoo, Yellow-legged Green Pigeon, Ashy-crowned Sparrow-lark, Rufous-tailed Lark, Bay-backed Shrike, White-bellied Drongo, Large Cuckoo-shrike, Rufous Treepie, Tickell’s Blue and Asian Paradise-flycatchers, Indian Roller, Indian Grey Hornbill and Greater Coucal.
Birds of prey are again present in good numbers and may include Crested Honey-buzzard, White-eyed Buzzard, White-backed Vulture and Black Eagle whilst Shikra sit inconspicuously close to the tracks. The Location of our Resort in is a convenient one as it is situated 9 KM away from JAWAI DAM overlooking the mesmerizing Range of Aravalli! Much to your advantage, the main attraction of JAWAI , the JAWAI DAM is 15 minutes drive away from this resort! From your room’s window you can enjoy the sunning overview of the surroundings.
Crocodile Sightings
Crocodiles are found in large number in Jawai Dam throught the year. As per the 2014 sensex there are more then 500 crocodiles in Jawai Dam. Around the bank of Jawai river and Jawai Dam crocodile taking sun bath in day time. The safari for corcodile is operated between 1:00 pm to 3:00pm. As we have our own spot for crocodile sightings where one can easily spot and take pictures. Witness the ancient majesty of crocodiles basking in the sun along Jawai's tranquil riverbanks.
